TCG Sync Compare works on most major trading card websites including TCGPlayer, eBay, and many other card retailers. The extension automatically detects trading card products on these sites.

Which trading card games are supported?

We support Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and many other popular trading card games. Our database is continuously expanding to include more games and sets.

How accurate are the prices?

We strive to provide the most accurate and up-to-date pricing information possible. Prices are sourced from verified sellers and updated regularly. However, prices can change quickly, so we recommend checking the seller's website for the most current pricing.

Privacy & Security

What data do you collect?

We don't collect any personal data. The extension only processes the trading card information visible on the current webpage to provide price comparisons. No browsing history, personal information, or user accounts are collected or stored.

Is my browsing activity tracked?

No. TCG Sync Compare only activates when you click the extension icon and only analyzes the current page you're viewing. We don't track your browsing activity or collect analytics data.

What permissions does the extension need?

The extension requires minimal permissions: "activeTab" to read the current page content when you click the extension, and "scripting" to extract product information. These permissions are only used for price comparison functionality.

Is it safe to use?

Yes. TCG Sync Compare is built following Chrome's latest security standards (Manifest V3) and doesn't collect personal data or execute remote code. All communications with our API use HTTPS encryption.

Technical Questions

Why isn't the extension working on a specific page?

The extension works best on product pages that contain clear trading card information. If it's not working, make sure you're on a product page (not a search results page) and that the page contains card details like name, set, and price.

What if I don't see any price comparisons?

This could happen if the card isn't in our database yet, or if there are no other sellers currently offering that specific card. We're continuously expanding our database and seller network.

Can I use it on mobile devices?

Currently, TCG Sync Compare is only available as a Chrome extension for desktop browsers. Mobile support may be added in the future.

Does it work with other browsers?

Currently, TCG Sync Compare is only available for Google Chrome. Support for other browsers may be added based on user demand.

Sellers & Business

I'm a seller. Will you compare prices against my customers?

No. We respect our partner sellers and have built-in protections to prevent comparing sellers against their own customers. If you're a TCG Sync customer, the extension won't show price comparisons when your customers visit your website.

How can I get my store included in the price comparisons?

If you're a trading card seller and would like to be included in our price comparisons, please contact us. We're always looking to expand our network of verified sellers.

Do you take a commission on sales?
